Appeals can only be submitted after a Notice to Keeper (NTK) has been issued.
Appeals may be submitted using one of the following methods:
By post to:

Online by visiting:
https://www.managemypcn.com
Appeals submitted before an NTK has been issued will not be considered.
All appeals submitted online are automatically recorded within our internal case management system.
Appeals received by post are digitised using an OCR-based document processing system and are then manually reviewed within our secure internal case management platform. Access to appeal data is restricted to authorised staff only.
All appeals are processed within 28 days of receipt.
The following information is recorded for each appeal:
Once an appeal has been recorded, it will remain on the system in accordance with our data retention policy.
After submitting an appeal online, an automated acknowledgement will be issued confirming receipt. All responses to appeals are issued from correspondence@parkingawareness.co.uk.
When an appeal is reviewed, all relevant information is considered, including the details of the Parking Charge Notice, the grounds of appeal, and any supporting evidence provided.
Appeals will normally only be accepted and processed at the first stage following the issue of a Notice to Keeper. Appeals submitted after this stage, including those received following a reminder notice, final demand, or referral to debt recovery, will not usually be considered and the appellant will be notified accordingly.
Any consideration of appeals outside this stage is entirely discretionary and does not create any precedent or obligation to consider future appeals submitted out of time.
Where a valid appeal is received at the Notice to Keeper stage, no further payment demands, reminder notices, or debt recovery escalation will be issued while the appeal is under consideration.
This suspension remains in place until a final decision has been reached.
In exceptional circumstances, appeals submitted after the usual appeal period may be considered, provided the appeal relates to the Notice to Keeper stage.
Examples of exceptional circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
Where such circumstances are verified, the appeal process may revert to the beginning of the standard 28 day appeal period, and enforcement activity will remain paused until a decision is reached.
All staff involved in processing appeals are trained in our internal appeals procedures, including knowledge of site rules and the systems used to assess appeals.
Each appeal is investigated thoroughly, and responses address the relevant points raised by the appellant.
Where an appeal raises a complaint relating to our service or staff, the matter will be escalated and handled in line with our complaints process. Any related enforcement activity will remain paused while the complaint is under investigation.
Where an appeal is rejected, the appellant has the right to appeal to the Independent Appeals Service (IAS).
The appellant will be informed that they have 28 days from the date of rejection to submit an appeal to the IAS. If an appeal is not submitted within this timeframe, enforcement activity may recommence.
Decisions issued by the IAS are binding on Parking Awareness Services Limited. If an appeal is upheld by the IAS, the parking charge will be cancelled and no further enforcement action will be taken.
The IAS decision is not binding on the motorist. Where an appeal is rejected and no further appeal is made, the parking charge remains payable.
A Parking Charge Notice may be cancelled in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:
Where an appeal is rejected by Parking Awareness Services Limited or by the IAS, no additional enforcement action will be taken for a period of 28 days from the date of the decision.
No additional charges or fees will be added during this period.
Where an appeal identifies issues requiring corrective action, appropriate steps will be taken promptly. This may include retraining staff, reviewing internal processes, or temporarily suspending enforcement activity at a specific location.
All corrective actions are documented and subject to follow-up review to ensure continued compliance.
Appeal and Parking Charge Notice data is retained in accordance with DVLA requirements and applicable legal obligations.
Where a Parking Charge Notice is cancelled or paid, records are retained for a minimum of two years.
Where no payment is made, records may be retained for up to six years to align with the statutory limitation period for civil claims.
Parking Awareness Services Limited operates in accordance with the International Parking Community Code of Practice.
